Mark is a passionate and visionary business leader, with extensive expertise in real estate, digital platform technology and classifieds and is an experienced director of private and public companies.

Mark has been a pioneer and leader in innovation in property since the mid 90’s and has built three national businesses, including as Founder and Managing Director of rent.com.au for 8 years, taking it through to ASX listing in 2015 (ASX: RNT).

Mark aggregated over 7,000 real-estate agencies to create the largest rental property portal used by over 700,000 renters each month, and developed many new services for Licensees, property managers, landlords and renters, inclusive of services such as RentBond, RentConnect, RentResume, RentReports, RentCheck and more.

Prior to ASX:RNT, Mark was the Managing Director of the Think Property and Finance group, which conducted investment property sales, a large agency and pioneered private sales in Australia in the 1990’s with the launch of the FSBO Private Sale System.

Prior to that, Mark was the Founder and CEO of InfoWave, which developed RealWeb, one of the first real estate portals, launched with partner Telstra in 1997. InfoWave was also one of Australia’s leading Mobile Information Services providers used by Vodafone, Bell South, Telstra, Macquarie and LINK.

Mark has operated a real-estate agency, prop-tech, mortgage and other services for over 30 years, is an Agency of the Year Recipient, was a finalist in the 2016 WAITTA INCITE Achiever of the Year Awards and was the Co-Founder and Chairman of the eGroup Association for Entrepreneurs.

He has a Bachelor of Business (BBUS), Land Economist (AVLE Econ), CertIV Finance, has a real estate license and is an Australian Credit Licence holder.
